beCPG is an open source Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform designed for Food & Beverage, Cosmetics & Personal Care, and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG/FMCG). It supports product development and lifecycle processes by centralising formulations, specifications, packaging data, documentation, and workflows. The platform also positions itself around product compliance and includes capabilities aimed at packaging declarations and life cycle assessment (LCA) for packaging, depending on configuration and module use. beCPG is primarily a PLM and product data governance tool for regulated sectors. It is not an ESG reporting platform and should not be positioned as a carbon accounting system unless a specific implementation proves that capability.
