Core Features
Climate Hub collects activity and spend data, calculate Scopes 1–3 in a consistent structure, then turn hotspots into targets and actions users can track over time. It is designed for both reporting outputs and day-to-day execution. Some of its main features are:
Flexible calculation methods: activity-based, spend-based, or hybrid calculation options for carbon accounting.
Evidence-linked data management: invoices and consumption records can be attached directly to datasets for traceability and audit security.
Scope coverage and Scope 2 treatment: Scope 1–3 accounting plus market- and location-based Scope 2 calculation.
Emission factor system with AI support: 200,000+ verified factors from 43+ databases (API-updated) and AI-supported mapping of emission factors.
Dashboards and hotspot analysis: real-time evaluations, dashboards, and hotspot analyses across the organisation and value chain.
Targets, actions, and costed plans: SBTi-compatible milestones, action planning with timelines/costs/responsibilities, and gap analysis.
Closing Insights
Climate Hub sits in VERSO’s suite as the module that turns operational data into carbon inventories and then into a managed reduction plan. It covers CCF and PCF, supports cradle-to-gate or cradle-to-grave PCF modelling, and generates standards-oriented outputs such as CSV exports and automated PDF reports.
Its strongest fit is in Europe, where carbon accounting increasingly needs to line up with disclosure and trade requirements. The platform positions PCF work for regulatory contexts such as CBAM and CSRD, and it also connects emissions data into VERSO’s ESG Hub for CSRD reporting workflows. In practice, that makes Climate Hub most useful for EU-based groups (or non-EU exporters into the EU) that must defend Scope 1–3 numbers, explain methodology, and keep evidence available for assurance.
VERSO backs the product with third-party certifications like GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1. Customer references on the Climate Hub page include DAT, Public Cloud Group (PCG), and HERMES Arzneimittel Holding.
VERSO does not publish subscription pricing, access is demo-led. VERSO also sells climate consulting alongside the software, including support on data quality and integration into internal processes.
