Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is a national rooftop solar programme launched by the Government of India in 2024 to accelerate household-level solar adoption and reduce electricity costs. The scheme aims to equip one crore households with grid-connected rooftop solar systems, providing up to 300 units of free electricity per month to eligible beneficiaries.
