• Direct-measurement basis: CO₂ calculations rest on continuous, high-accuracy mass-flow readings from OPTIMASS meters across consumers—reducing estimation error in carbon accounts.

• EU & UK MRV report generation: Annual emission reports can be created for EU or UK MRV; users select period and voyages, with structured parameters set out in the interface.

On supply ships, KROHNE combines EcoMATE with OPTIMASS flowmeters to monitor each fuel offtake point—useful where multiple engines, boilers and generators complicate balancing. On ferries, the same setup supports granular monitoring across consumers to document efficiency measures. For container ships, EcoMATE adds voyage-data reporting, remote diagnostics and a cloud option to share data ashore, supporting continuous performance programs and bunkering disputes.

With its cloud integration, measured data is automatically synced for onshore oversight, enabling fleet-wide Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) benchmarking, year-on-year trend visibility, and planning for the IMO's CII and EEXI regulations.
