Core Features
RitaONE focuses on enterprise-scale ESG data consolidation and reporting using a unified, integration-first architecture that links data from multiple systems into a single repository. Its main features include:
AI-powered automation: leverages agentic AI to simplify data collection, reduce manual processes, and generate instant ESG insights and draft reporting content.
Carbon accounting engine: tracks scope 1-3 emissions within the platform, enabling organisations to measure and manage their greenhouse gas footprint alongside broader ESG metrics.
Natural language interface: provides an intuitive interface for querying ESG data, metrics and KPIs, making it easier for users to explore insights without complex querying tools.
Integration-first design: connects with enterprise systems (e.g., finance systems, ERP, supply chain platforms) to automate data flow and reduce manual data reconciliation across sustainability reporting processes.
Multi-framework compliance: supports reporting aligned with evolving global sustainability standards including CSRD and GHG Protocol, and delivers real-time updates as regulations change.
Extensive KPI library: includes over 6,200 predefined ESG indicators and allows customisable metrics to reflect organisational reporting needs.
Closing Insights
RitaONE comes out of Hitachi Digital Services’ internal product build. It was developed through the Lumada Digital Innovation Program (LDIP), using strategic funding, technical leadership, and business modeling, and it was co-developed and validated across multiple Hitachi business units to reflect real ESG reporting needs across industries and geographies.
RitaONE is well suited to multi-jurisdiction disclosure work where data has to be reused across overlapping rules. It explicitly supports CSRD/ESRS-aligned reporting and GHG Protocol reporting, and it includes GDPR-compliant data protection and “audit-grade traceability”—a practical combination for EU-facing groups that must show data lineage from source systems through to reported figures. In the same “regulatory change” context, Hitachi calls out ISSB, Japan’s SSBJ, and SEC climate disclosures as drivers reshaping non-financial reporting expectations, which suits companies standardizing disclosures across regions.
Pricing is offered as flexible subscription pricing; deployments typically connect to finance systems, ERP, supply-chain platforms, and existing sustainability tools, with access to Hitachi’s ESG experts via consultation.
