Core Features
Quantified Impacts treats product carbon accounting as an end-to-end workflow rather than a one-off calculation. Its capabilities include:
Cradle-to-gate product focus - The platform provides manufacturers with cradle-to-gate calculations from raw material extraction to factory gate, keeping calculations aligned with value-chain boundaries and ISO 14067 for product carbon footprints.
Flexible data import and system connectivity - Users can get started with smart Excel templates, integrations to ERP or PIM systems, or manual data entry, making it possible to bring together data from spreadsheets, ERPs and suppliers in one environment.
Automated calculation engine - Quantified Impacts links purchased products and processes to emission factors from its database, automatically calculates supplier distances, and auto-calculates emissions for products based on bills of materials and operations.
Detailed documentation and breakdowns - The software produces detailed CO₂ documentation including total GWP plus fossil, biogenic and land-use components, with reports designed for audits and internal use, and product-specific reports planned for direct sharing with customers.
Customer-facing communication tools - CO₂ data can be added to invoices, exported as product-specific data and used to support customers’ own climate reporting from cradle to gate.
Reduction insights and advisory support - Users can identify reduction opportunities, compare suppliers based on emissions and use the company’s services on PCF studies, LCAs and general compliance work for major climate reporting regulations.
Closing Insights
Quantified Impacts was founded in 2022 by Mikkel Sørensen (CEO), Kristian Borum (CTO) and Simon Mayall (CSO). An Innobooster grant from Innovation Fund Denmark supports development of the platform for which there are plans to integrate AI and machine learning to improve calculation accuracy and deliver validated reports and optimization insights.
The platform is positioned as a partner for a range of users including product managers, sustainability officers, LCA experts, and climate auditors. Clients such as plastics manufacturer PMH Plast use the platform to map the climate footprint of their entire production, calculate CO₂e per product and show footprints on invoices, making it easier for buyers to document Scope 3.1 emissions. Furniture brand Wehlers likewise describes Quantified Impacts as the partner behind its footprint calculations for selected R.U.M. chairs, supporting circular furniture claims with quantified data.
For manufacturers wanting ISO 14067-aligned product footprints without building their own LCA infrastructure, Quantified Impacts offers subscription plans (Starter, Pro and Auto Pilot) with different limits on active footprints and users, plus ERP integration and a dedicated contact at the top tier. Combined with advisory services on product carbon footprints, life-cycle assessment and general sustainability compliance, the platform provides a structured option for embedding product-level climate data in everyday operations and customer communication.
